No. 2 Berea College jumped ahead early and never looked back as they cruised to an 83-66 win over no. 7 Iowa Wesleyan College in a Men's Division I quarterfinal on Wednesday. Richard Parker paced the Mountaineers with 19 points off the bench as 10 players scored for Berea.

ON THE COURT
- Elijah Johnson made a three-pointer for Iowa Wesleyan 34 seconds into the game. A Berea basket made it 3-2 with 18:55 on the clock, and a Mountaineer basket a minute and a half later took away the last lead Iowa Wesleyan would have.
- An 18-2 run after the initial basket by Johnson gave Berea an 18-5 lead as they continued to pull away throughout the first half.
- Iowa Wesleyan had an 8-3 spurt that made it 28-15, but a 14-4 run by Berea stretched the lead to 23 with just under four minutes left in the first half. Berea led by 27 at halftime, 50-23.
- Berea used multiple runs in the second half to lead by as many as 36 before cooling off late.

- Anthony Myrks added 11 points off the bench for Berea, as the Mountaineers racked up 35 total points from their non-starters.
- Iowa Wesleyan received strong outings from their bench as well, combining for 48 points. Marquis Jones scored 15 points and Brock Butler added 14 from their reserve spots.
