#4 Johnson & Wales University-Charlotte pulls away late to secure win against #5 Penn State York
Led by Tramain Parker, Johnson & Wales-Charlotte pulled away in the final minutes to defeat Penn State York and advance to the USCAA Men’s Division II Basketball semifinals.

IN BRIEF: In a back and forth game that was closely contested throughout, Johnson & Wales-Charlotte pulled away in the final minutes to secure the victory and advance to the USCAA Men's Division II Basketball semifinals. In the winning effort, the Wildcats were led by Tramain Parker with 21 points on 10-21 shooting.
ON THE COURT
In addition to his team high 21 points, Parker also tallied five blocks, secured four rebounds, and had three assists to complete a standout performance. Nick Crawford was the Wildcats' second leading scorer with 11 points, also adding a team high five assists and nine rebounds. After shooting just 36% in the first half, Johnson & Wales-Charlotte responded shooting 53% in the second half on their way to the victory.
Penn State York's All-American's Logan Steckel and Josh Jamison did the heavy lifting for the Lions, scoring 38 of the team's 60 points. Steckel, a Second Team All-American, led the team with 23 points on 6-12 shooting from three point range. Jamison, an Honorable Mention All-American, added 15 points for a Penn State York team that was undone by 21 turnovers.

Penn State York will face the loser of that contest in consolation action at 12:00 PM on Friday in the Maltho Gymnasium.
