#1 Daemen College 98 - #8 University of Maine-Fort Kent 36

UNIONTOWN, PA- The first-seeded Daemen College Lady Wildcats started off their tournament with a win against the eighth-seeded University of Maine-Fort Kent Lady Bengals by a score of 98-36.
Daemen was led by Ellie Allen who had 19 points (8-12) and collected nine rebounds. Lindsay Stoddard added 14 points and six rebounds to help Daemen in victory. The Lady Wildcats shot 59% from the field in the second half and shot 54% for the game.
Taylor Boucher and Jennifer Colpitts both had 9 points to lead University of Maine-Fort Kent. The Lady Bengals went 5-21 (23.8%) from the three-point line. Daemen College advances to play the winner of Rochester College and University of Virginia Lynchburg at 1:00 pm on Friday.
