Men’s Division I
Apprentice School 96, University of Maine Fort Kent 79
The Apprentice School with a convincing win over University of Maine Fort Kent 96-79. The Apprentice School led this one start to finish with the lead ballooning up to 26 points at one point! They were led by Adrion Wall who led all scorers with 26 points on an efficient 8-12 from the field and an astonishing 6-9 from three-point territory.
Bryant & Stratton - Albany 65, Southeastern Illinois College 62
Bryant & Stratton - Albany wins a NAIL-BITER against Southeastern Illinois College 65-62 with Devon Smith-Johnson leading the charge with 24 points and a huge showing on the boards pulling down 12 rebounds. Both teams put on a defensive clinic holding each other to under 40% shooting as this one went down to the wire.
Bryant & Stratton - Buffalo 87, Manor College 66
Bryant & Stratton - Buffalo came out scorching against Manor College which ultimately led to a 87-66 hard fought contest. Armonee Felder filled up the stat sheet for Buffalo as he got his teammates involved with 6 assists and pulled down 6 boards and 3 steals as well. However, the talk of this game was Deric Jackson who torched for 25 points in only 27 minutes of play to help lead his team to the win.
Lyon College 86, Bryant & Stratton - Syracuse 57
Lyon College with a huge showing tonight over Bryant & Stratton - Syracuse in a 86-57 win. Lyon College took immediate control over the game with a world class showing from Frank Toney scoring 17 points in only the first half! Trenton Bell also help put the emphasis on the near 30 point win with an acrobatic, outside of the lane dunk!
Women’s Division I
Salem University 74, University of Maine Fort Kent 50
Emerson Wells has herself a huge day with a game-high 18 points including 4 three-pointers to lead Salem University to a dominant win over the University of Maine Fort Kent 74-50.
Bryant & Stratton - Syracuse 74, Carlow University 60
Bryant & Stratton - Syracuse had big moments from particularly two star showings in Daja White, who finished with 30 points and 14 rebounds, and Eunice Sillong, 25 points and 29 rebounds, to lead their team to a 74-60 win over Carlow University!
Men’s Division II
Villa Maria College 78, Penn State Mont Alto 68
Villa Maria College & Coach Desmond Randall take down Penn State Mont Alto 78-68 in a hard fought, defensive matchup behind two huge scoring performances in All-American Justin Johnson (22) and Taron Benton (21).
Penn State Wilkes-Barre 80, Southern Maine Community College 49
Penn State Wilkes-Barre put on an impressive performance against Southern Maine Community College 80-49 behind an all-around performance from Rashod Ballard filing up the stat sheet with 17 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists. Wilkes-Barre also shot a whopping 53.2% from the field in their dominant win.
Women’s Division II
Southern Maine Community College 64, Five Towns College 55
Southern Maine Community College took down Five Towns College in a 64-55 back and forth battle. This one went back and forth until a late run in the 4th by Southern Maine to solidify the win. They were led by Maddy York, who posted a jaw-dropping 30 points as well as 5 rebounds and 2 steals.
Christendom College 76, Penn State Shenango 52
Christendom College builds a large lead early to coast to a 76-52 win against Penn State Shenango. Mary Pennefather had a MONSTER game with 33 points, 16 rebounds, and 6 with 4 steals as she dominated on both sides of the floor for the Crusaders.
