UNIONTOWN, PA- The first game in the Men's Division I bracket resulted in the top seeded Rochester College Warriors defeating the eighth-seeded St. Joseph's College-Brooklyn Bears 75-53.
USCAA All-American Drammell Hogan led all scorers with 37 points (14-19) along with 10 rebounds. Fellow teammate and All-American Drew Maynard also chipped in a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds. Rochester's defense played a huge part in the outcome of the game, holding the Bears to just 30 percent shooting from the field.
Senior Bears guard Jan Rogowski led his team in scoring with 12 points followed closely by fellow guard Matt O'Neil with 10 points. Rochester College was able to penetrate inside scoring over half their points in the paint (44). The Warriors will advance to the next round of tournament play. Awaiting them is the winner of the Lindenwood-Bellevile and Southern Virginia University game.
